FreeCORE 15.0-U1.9

The FreeBSD 15.1-RELEASE-p4 security corrections, Linux binary compatibility modules that load again, and a Pool card that marks a full pool in place, on the maintained 15.0 line.

FreeCORE 15.0-U1.9 continues the maintained 15.0 line, which carries the TrueNAS CORE 13.3 storage, jail, plugin and VM model forward. It is a maintenance update for 15.0-U1.8.

Security

• The base system incorporates the FreeBSD 15.1-RELEASE-p4 security and errata corrections: SA-26:64 through SA-26:69, EN-26:23 and EN-26:24.

Fixed

• The Linux binary compatibility modules load again. The image ships mqueuefs.ko, which linux.ko and linux64.ko have required since FreeBSD 15, so kldload linux64 resolves it on demand. Nothing is loaded by default.

Changed

• The Dashboard's Pool card marks a pool that is 80% full or more on its usage line, instead of repeating the figure on a second row.

Use System > Update on the FreeCORE-15.0-STABLE train, or follow Installing FreeCORE for a fresh installation. Review Update Security and keep a configuration backup before updating.
