FreeCORE 15.0-U1.6

The installer on every console at the same time, on the maintained 15.0 line.

FreeCORE 15.0-U1.6 continues the maintained 15.0 line, which carries the TrueNAS CORE 13.3 storage, jail, plugin and VM model forward. It is a maintenance update for 15.0-U1.5 with one change, in the installer. A system already running 15.0-U1.5 runs the same code after this update; it matters for new installations.

• The installer is offered on every console at the same time: the display and the serial port both show the menu, whichever the firmware lists first. Before this release it ran on the primary console alone, so on a UEFI virtual machine a serial-console install never saw the menu on a 15.0-U1.5 host, and the display stayed blank on earlier hosts. One console installs at a time; starting the install on the second reports that an installation is already running on another console and returns to its menu.

Use System > Update on the FreeCORE-15.0-STABLE train, or follow Installing FreeCORE for a fresh installation. Review Update Security and keep a configuration backup before updating.
