FreeCORE 15.0-U1.8
The Remove Captured Return dialog closes itself, withdrawn FreeBSD releases fetch from the archive, and the VM console's extra keys are back, on the maintained 15.0 line.
FreeCORE 15.0-U1.8 continues the maintained 15.0 line, which carries the TrueNAS CORE 13.3 storage, jail, plugin and VM model forward. It is a maintenance update for 15.0-U1.7.
Release date: 29 September 2026
Fixed
- The Remove Captured Return job dialog under System > Update closes itself when the removal succeeds, instead of staying open with no Close button.
- A FreeBSD release that
download.freebsd.orghas withdrawn is fetched fromarchive.freebsd.orginstead, so a 13.x jail can be created again. - The VM web console's extra-keys panel shows its Ctrl, Alt, Windows, Tab, Esc and Ctrl-Alt-Del buttons again instead of six empty rings.
Changed
- The Dashboard's Network card sits on the shared card frame again: measured header, aligned interface rows, quiet counters.
